LABOUR HOSTELS

There are five labour hostels in the town which are looked after by the MC Shimla. The locations of these hostels are in Lakkar Bazaar, Court Hill, Chaura Maidan, Fagali and Chalet day. These are meant for the labourers which comes to the town for construction work. The application for hiring accommodation can be bought from the Estate Department of M.C. Shimla on the payment . Two recent photographs are also required to submit alongwith  application form. Monthly charges for staying  in labour hostel are Rs. 20/-.
